Things haven't been easy for Shenandoah, and their game on Friday only extended their streak of losses to eight. They have to be aching after a bruising 7-28 loss to Atlantic on Friday. The state rankings had actually given Shenandoah a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Shenandoah will stay at home next week against Kuemper at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games. As for Atlantic, they will face off against Red Oak. Atlantic will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
