The Windsor Owls came tearing into Tuesday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past DeSoto 69-44. Windsor has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 22 points or more this season.
When it comes to explaining why DeSoto lost, one person who can't be blamed is Evan Mcclinton. Despite the final result, he scored 17 points along with two steals. Owen Snudden was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds.
Windsor pushed their record up to 11-4 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for DeSoto, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windsor will take on the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 492nd, while the Owls are ranked 127th). As for DeSoto, they will be playing at home against the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Perryville has now lost 14 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 30.
