In what's become a running theme this season, the Daniel Lions gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They breezed by Walhalla on the road to the tune of 88-52. The victory was nothing new for Daniel as they're now sitting on five straight.
Daniel's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Simms Disbrow, who scored 21 points along with seven assists. Another player making a difference was Tristyn Carrington, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.
Despite the defeat, Walhalla saw an underclassman step up: Jack Williams scored 18 points along with two steals. Tyler Lusk was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Walhalla struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Daniel has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for Walhalla, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Daniel will take on the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. West-Oak has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 7. As for Walhalla, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Hopefully Crescent focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Tuesday.
