Minooka extended their home winning streak to six games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Madelyn Kiper. The Indians walked away with a 48-37 victory over the Downers Grove South Mustangs on Tuesday for which the team can thank Kiper, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 13 rebounds. The contest was her fifth in a row with at least 19 points.

Minooka's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Downers Grove South, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Minooka and Downers Grove South will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Indians are set to square off against their familiar foe Joliet Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Downers Grove South will challenge rival Hinsdale South on Tuesday.
