Baseball Recap: Meadville Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Meadville can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Fort LeBoeuf Bison by a score of 7-2. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bison, too.

Meadville got a big performance out of Bradyn Miller, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two doubles and two RBI. That's the most doubles Miller has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacoby Thompson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Meadville's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Fort LeBoeuf, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Meadville has already played their next matchup, a 14-4 loss against General McLane on the 28th. As for Fort LeBoeuf, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-7 victory against Erie on the 28th.
