Shawano Community proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 17) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Winneconne Wolves 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hawks have posted since May 21, 2024.

Shawano Community's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-8. As for Winneconne, they moved to 13-4 with that loss, which also ended their 11-game winning streak.

Coming up, Shawano Community will challenge West De Pere at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Winneconne, they will be playing at home against Kettle Moraine Lutheran at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
