Football Recap: North Henderson Comes Up Short

North Henderson lost against Tuscola back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights took a 38-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountaineers. Despite 112 more yards than the Mountaineers, the Knights couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Despite the loss, North Henderson still got an impressive performance from Parker Willis, who rushed for 281 yards and two scores while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. Willis is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 161 every time he's taken the field this season.

Tuscola's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jett Bartley, who threw for 141 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 57 yards. Sam Trantham helped out on the ground, rushing for 98 yards.

This is the second loss in a row for North Henderson and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Tuscola, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

North Henderson has already played their next game, a 28-20 loss against Pisgah on the 19th. Tuscola has also already played their next matchup (against West Henderson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
