Colbie Tworek and Kasandra Duran certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Tworek had ten aces, nine kills, and 23 assists, while Duran had 24 digs and four aces. The dominant performance gave Duran a new career-high in aces.
Academy for Academic Excellence's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for University Prep, they pushed their record up to 16-9-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
