St. Francis lost a heartbreaker the last time they played St. Catherine, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's game. The Mariners beat the Angels on Monday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-1. Considering the Mariners have won four matches by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

St. Francis has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for St. Catherine's, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

St. Francis didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-0 win against Kenosha Christian Life on the 29th. As for St. Catherine's, they have also already played their next matchup, a 12-2 defeat against St. Thomas More on the 29th.
