After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East Hardy, Northern Garrett was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They breezed by the Hancock Panthers to the tune of 82-44. The Huskies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 21 points or more this season.

Hancock's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jacob Anderson, who posted six points and ten boards. Those ten rebounds gave Anderson a new career-high. Hunter Kerns was another key player, putting up 12 points.

The win got Northern Garrett back to even at 6-6. As for Hancock, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-6 record.

Northern Garrett has already played their next contest (against East Hardy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hancock wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 56-50 defeat against Union on the 31st.
