Minerva dropped their record down to 9-15 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indian Valley Braves. Gabby Kashdan was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.
As for Indian Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games.
