Notre Dame lost to Welsh back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. Everything went the Notre Dame Pioneers' way against the Welsh Greyhounds as the Notre Dame Pioneers made off with a 57-34 win. The Pioneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Notre Dame's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 12-7. As for Welsh, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 14 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record this season.

Coincidentally, Notre Dame and Welsh will both be playing Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy the next time they take the court. Notre Dame will head out to face Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy on Tuesday, while Welsh will head out to face them on Friday.
