1A - North recap September 4, 2013
Milford took down White Pine 50-16 last week, the largest margin of any game. Wade Netto ran for 90 yards during the win.
The Tigers made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,896 from 13,693. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 50-16 victory over the Bobcats last week.
Duchesne's dynamic duo of Trent Roberts and Braxton Spencer proved tough for North Summit to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Roberts threw for 56 yards and Spencer had 56 yards receiving.
The Eagles' dynamic duo of Roberts and Spencer proved to be unstoppable against the Braves, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Netto was a passing and rushing force as Milford beat White Pine.
Roberts put up the best numbers through the air as Duchesne topped North Summit.
Spencer was the best wideout in 1A - North this week as Jerry Cowan's team beat Devin Smith's team.
Netto was the most successful running back in the league this week. Kaydon Noyes also contributed to the rushing game with 84 yards on the ground.
An important game coming up this the league this week will be when Altamont takes on Brian Williamson's team. The Longhorns are currently in fourth, while the Tigers are in third.
Milford led 1A - North in scoring this week by notching 50 points on James Williams' team. Netto in the win.
