On Friday, Science Leadership Academy at Beeber humbled the with a 73-35 victory. Given Science Leadership Academy at Beeber's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while the are ranked 631st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Science Leadership Academy at Beeber's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jahad Marable, who scored 32 points. Marable continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Sa'd Jamdaddin was another key contributor, scoring 23 points.
Meanwhile, Sun Valley had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.4 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. They slipped by Delaware County Christian 64-63. 64 seems to be a good number for Sun Valley as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Science Leadership Academy at Beeber's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Sun Valley, they pushed their record up to 13-7 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
Things could have been worse for Science Leadership Academy at Beeber, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 66-50 loss to the Vanguards in their previous matchup back in February of 2023.
