North Brunswick hasn't had much luck against Ashley recently, but that could start to change  on Monday. The Scorpions will head out to  take on the Screaming Eagle  at 6:00  p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Thursday, North Brunswick came up short against Laney  and fell  3-1. While the Scorpions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Buccaneers  25-17 in the first  set.
 North Brunswick started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-20, 25-15,  25-19.
Meanwhile, Ashley came up short against  Hoggard on Thursday, falling  3-0. The Screaming Eagle haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-21,  25-13.
 North Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Ashley, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Monday's  match:  North Brunswick has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 8  aces per game. However, it's not like Ashley struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 7.5  aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
 North Brunswick couldn't quite get it done against Ashley when the teams last played  last Tuesday as they fell  3-1. Can the Scorpions avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
