North Brunswick started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-20, 25-15, 25-19.
Meanwhile, Ashley came up short against Hoggard on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Screaming Eagle haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-21, 25-13.
North Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Ashley, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.

However, it's not like Ashley struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.5 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
