Inverness Christian Academy's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against Varsity Opponent by a score of 46-38. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Inverness Christian Academy also won the last time the pair played last Monday.
Inverness Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Xavier Koster out in front who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Koster has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaiden Breedlove, who scored six points along with 21 rebounds and six steals.
The win got Inverness Christian Academy back to even at 4-4. As for Varsity Opponent, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 22 of their last 23 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 270-1025-2 record this season.
Inverness Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Varsity Opponent will be playing in front of their home fans against Broome Street Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
