Greenhills won the last time they faced Detroit Cristo Rey and things went their way on Thursday too. The Gryphons blew past the WOLVES 13-3. The result was nothing new for the Gryphons, who have now won 15 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Ethan Berry and Josh Dorfman did most of the damage at the plate: Berry went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI, while Dorfman went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those two stolen bases gave Berry a new career-high. Jeremiah Bowman was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Greenhills hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive contests.

Greenhills has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for Detroit Cristo Rey, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
