The Norwalk Truckers will be home for the holidays to greet the Keystone Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Norwalk has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
Norwalk pushed their score all the way to 64 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Ontario 69-64. Despite running the score up even higher than they did last Friday (58), Norwalk still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, Keystone entered their tilt with Clearview with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Keystone was the clear victor by a 68-44 margin over Clearview. Considering Keystone has won three games by more than 22 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Keystone can attribute much of their success to Liam Goran, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds, and Grant Hartley, who scored 24 points along with six assists and six rebounds. The match was Goran's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Logan Nagle was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Norwalk's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Keystone, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Norwalk barely slipped by Keystone in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, winning 40-39. Does Norwalk have another victory up their sleeve, or will Keystone turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
