The biggest upset of the week belonged to Susquehanna Township, who took down 56th ranked Cedar Cliff, 30-28.
Bishop McDevitt extended the longest winning streak in Mid-Penn - Keystone this week by beating Lower Dauphin, 32-14. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Bishop McDevitt's dynamic duo of Alec Werner and Brian Lemelle proved tough for the Falcons to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Werner threw for 346 yards and four touchdowns and Lemelle had 112 yards receiving. Nate Showalter helped Bishop McDevitt's passing attack out by catching six balls for 95 yards.
Dom Giovanniello made the biggest impact on defense this week as Hershey topped Mechanicsburg. The senior grabbed two sacks.
Travis Morrill was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 21 carries, he ran for 90 yards as Lower Dauphin beat Lower Dauphin. Teammate Troy Spencer added to the ground attack by rushing for 24 yards.
6-foot-3 quarterback Andrew Ford of the Colts is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1681. He has also thrown 22 touchdowns. On the ground, Red Land's John Ford has rushed for 828 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Lemelle. The Bishop McDevitt star has 37 catches for 601 yards.
The top two teams in Mid-Penn - Keystone will face off this week when first place Bishop McDevitt takes on second place Red Land. The Crusaders bested Robert Klock's team last week, while the Patriots topped Palmyra.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Cedar Cliff takes on the Falcons. Jim Cantafio's team's offense has scored 297 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while Lower Dauphin has allowed only 69 on the year.
The Indians moved up to 40 from 88 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Susquehanna Township climbed the ranks as a result of beating the Colts 30-28.
