Everything went their way against Washington Tech as St. Paul Central made off with a 58-32 victory. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for St. Paul Central considering their 18-point performance the matchup before.
St. Paul Central's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Regina Williams, who scored 17 points. That's the first time this season that Williams scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Kyla Parker, who scored 13 points.
Minneapolis South's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. St. Paul Central's record is now 3-10.
Minneapolis South came up short against St. Paul Central in their previous matchup back in January of 2022, falling 48-35. Can Minneapolis South avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
