Charleston extended the longest winning streak in 3A Region 4 this week by beating Mansfield, 48-14. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Tigers.
Charleston's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Ty Storey threw for 138 and 3 touchdowns and Austin Pittman had 40 yards receiving. On the ground Pittman contributed 63 yards. Chance Shelby helped Charleston's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 33 yards.
He went 12-14 with 0 interceptions.
Storey put up the best numbers through the air as Greg Kendrick's team bested the Tigers. Storey's favorite target this week was Pittman, who caught 4 passes for 40 yards.
Charleston's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Storey has thrown for 2,498 yards and 29 touchdowns this season, while Shelby has 44 catches for 667 yards.
The Tigers led the league in scoring this week after putting up 48 points on Mansfield. Storey ran for 49 yards during the win.
