Milaca got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brock Talberg out in front who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Colin Marudas, who scored 15 points along with four steals.
Milaca's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-15. As for Hinckley-Finlayson, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.
Milaca didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-41 victory vs. Ogilvie on the 6th. Hinckley-Finlayson has also already played their next match, a 58-47 win against Proctor on the 8th.
