Baseball Recap: Eagle's View Find Success

Eagle's View hadn't done well against Yulee recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Eagle's View Warriors came out on top against the Yulee Hornets by a score of 6-2. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Hornets back in February, they had to take a 11-7 loss.

Aaron Parmar looked comfortable as he pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Eagle's View's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Clayton Friidall, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Friidall has become a key player for Eagle's View: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 3-7 otherwise.

Eagle's View has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. Yulee is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eagle's View will host First Coast Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. First Coast Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season. As for Yulee, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Cedar Creek Christian at 7:00 p.m. Cedar Creek Christian has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.08 runs per game on average), something Yulee will no doubt try to take advantage of.
