The Lebanon Tigers won the last time they faced the Frankfort Hot Dogs, and things went their way on Friday too. Lebanon took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 45-14 win over Frankfort. Winning is a bit easier when you outrebound your opponent 17 to 3 on the offensive boards, as Lebanon did.
Lebanon can attribute much of their success to Claire Boling, who scored 11 points. Riley Vanaman was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Lebanon's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Frankfort, they bumped their record down to 1-16 with that loss, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lebanon won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bethesda Christian at 3:00 p.m. on January 6th. Hopefully Bethesda Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Thursday. As for Frankfort, they will head out on the road to face off against Rossville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Rossville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Saturday.
