Salmon River is 6-0 against Horseshoe Bend since December of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Salmon River Savages will be playing at home against the Horseshoe Bend Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. Horseshoe Bend took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Salmon River, who comes in off a win.
Last Monday, Salmon River made easy work of Highland and carried off a 44-22 victory. That 22 points margin sets a new team best for Salmon River this season.
Meanwhile, Horseshoe Bend came up short against Garden Valley on Monday and fell 39-27. Horseshoe Bend has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Salmon River pushed their record up to 6-1 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Horseshoe Bend, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
Salmon River took their victory against Horseshoe Bend when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 34-14. Does Salmon River have another victory up their sleeve, or will Horseshoe Bend turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
