Fort Dorchester was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fourth to second in AAAA Region VIII.
Colleton County made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,668 from 6,880. The advance stemmed from a 26-21 victory over the Cougars last week.
Bluffton's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bobcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. C.J. Frazier has thrown for 1189 yards and 25 touchdowns this season, while Demetrius Smalls has 22 catches for 410 yards. Tykeem Major leads the league in rushing with 236 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Bluffton takes on Beaufort. The Bobcats are currently in first, while the Eagles are in third.
