Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Regis). They never let the Mohawk Mustangs get on the board and left with  an   18-0  victory  on Thursday. The  win was familiar territory for the Rams, who have now won five  contests in a row.
 Korben Schumacher was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Those  11  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI. Regis is 5-2 when  Schumacher posts two or  more  stolen bases, but 3-5 otherwise.
 In other batting news,  Tanner Lawson was  incredible,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with three  runs and four  RBI. Those  four  RBI gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Rook Smith, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Regis  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .556. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an  OBP of .500 or higher in four consecutive  games.
Regis pushed their record up to 8-7 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Mohawk,  they are  on  a  nine-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-9.
