Banneker suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They were the victim of a tough 81-61 defeat at the hands of Jackson-Reed. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Thursday (55), Banneker still had to take the loss.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Jeremiah Shelton, who scored 18 points along with five assists and four steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Doran Clausell was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
School Without Walls' defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Banneker, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
School Without Walls didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Banneker in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 60-54 win.
