On Friday, Drexel/Miami got the W thanks in part to Mason Jackson playing the best football he has all season. Jackson threw for 157 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August.
Unfortunately for Osceola, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Jackson. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Jackson saw Osceola), he threw for 329 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.0 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns.
