Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Plaquemine). They never let the North Iberville Bears get on the board and left with a 23-0 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Green Devils, who have now won six games by 15 runs or more so far this season.

With the victory, Plaquemine broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-6. As for North Iberville, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Plaquemine has already played their next contest, a 14-1 loss against Zachary on the 17th. As for North Iberville, they are taking a road trip to face off against Baker at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Iberville has given up an average of 21.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
