For the second straight game, Center Hill will face off against Lake Cormorant. Center Hill will head out to face off against Lake Cormorant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Center Hill is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Center Hill is headed into the matchup having just suffered their closest loss since February 17th on Tuesday. They fell just short of Lake Cormorant by a score of 6-4. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Lake Cormorant's part, Hayden Streiber made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. Streiber has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Walker Wixon, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Dominic Clements also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Lake Cormorant was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

With the win, Lake Cormorant broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-7. As for Center Hill, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-10.
