Softball Recap: Prescott Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

Ellsworth typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Prescott proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 19-7 margin over the Panthers. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won 13 games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Prescott pushed their record up to 18-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Ellsworth, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-8.

Coming up, Prescott will face off against Hastings at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ellsworth, they will square off against Fall Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
