Frankfort is 10-0 against Onaga since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Frankfort Wildcats will head out on the road to take on the Onaga Buffaloes at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Frankfort is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank in Kansas (they are ranked 39th, while Onaga is ranked 284th).
Frankfort put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past Troy 51-30. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Frankfort.
Meanwhile, Onaga's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 11th straight loss. They took a serious blow against Clifton-Clyde, falling 61-32.
Frankfort's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.2 points per game. As for Onaga, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-17.
Frankfort took their victory against Onaga when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 57-34. The rematch might be a little tougher for Frankfort since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
