The Germantown Warhawks stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past West Allis Hale, posting a 69-29 win on the road. Germantown's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
It was another big night for Lucy Leininger, who scored 21 points along with five assists and five steals. Leininger is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Madeline Jakusz, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Germantown is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for West Allis Hale, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-14.
Germantown will head out on the road to square off against the at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Allis Hale, they will be playing at home against the Phoenix at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Menomonee Falls' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five contests.
