Meanwhile, Lake Creek put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past Brenham with points to spare, taking the game 39-21.
Nederland has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Lake Creek, they have yet to lose a game on the road this season, leaving them with a 10-0 record.
