Volleyball Recap: Alexa Baird's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Rock Academy over Canyon Hills + How To Watch

The Rock Academy Warriors didn't have quite enough to beat the Canyon Hills Rattlers on Tuesday and fell 3-2. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rock Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Alexa Baird, who had 14 kills, three digs, three aces, and one block. She is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had six or more in each of the last 16 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Daniella Lara, who had two aces and one block.

Rock Academy now has a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Rock Academy and Coastal Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Canyon Hills, they will look to defend their home court on September 3 against San Diego at 6:00 p.m.
