Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Mobile Christian Leopards walked away with it. They secured a 34-30 W over the Trojans on Friday. Mobile Christian's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Mobile Christian found their leader in underclassman PJ Brown, who rushed for 215 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. Brown's longest rush was for an incredible 78 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Damien Gatson, who rushed for 86 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries.
Mobile Christian's victory bumped their record up to 14-0. As for Saint James, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-3.
Mobile Christian is on the road again on Thursday and play against Madison Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th. Madison Academy will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. Saint James does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
