Last Tuesday, Liberty was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 48-42 to Colfax. Liberty has not had much luck with Colfax recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Meanwhile, Medical Lake put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by East Valley on the road to the tune of 50-21. The result was nothing new for Medical Lake, who have now won three games by 22 points or more so far this season.
Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Medical Lake, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.
Everything went Liberty's way against Medical Lake in their previous meeting back in December of 2021 as Liberty made off with a 49-28 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Liberty since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
