Jefferson has been on the road for two straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Lone Peak Big Horns at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Jefferson suffered their closest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They fell just short of East Helena by a score of 53-51.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Kael Hesford, who scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Stevens, who scored seven points along with 18 rebounds and five assists.
Lone Peak suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Saturday. They were beaten by Manhattan 79-39. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lone Peak has scored all season.
Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Lone Peak, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.
Everything came up roses for Jefferson against Lone Peak in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 78-41 victory. Will Jefferson repeat their success, or does Lone Peak have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
