Reece Oakley posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.

Oakley's strong effort led T.L. Hanna over Greenville and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are at an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2015, but likely not for long.
