Rudder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Southwest Dragons, falling 91-45. On the bright side, the 45- point performance marked the Rangers' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Rudder's loss came despite strong showings from Kalvin Bell and Rodrigo Salazar Gold. Bell posted 12 points and six boards, while Salazar Gold went 6-for-7 to rack up 13 points and four steals. Salazar Gold is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Brandon Auston, who scored eight points and 12 rebounds.

Rudder's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Southwest, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Rudder wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 67-34 defeat against Holmes on the 21st. Southwest has also already played their next contest (against Edison), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
