A Season-Best  Effort from  Boogie Anetema Leads North over Peninsula
 North was led to victory by  Boogie Anetema, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Anetema threw for 319 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per attempt, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
 The  win was  the fifth in a row for North, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. It'll be Northside v. Southside when they and South meet  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Cole Leinart Goes Supernova in Redondo Union Victory
 Winning always takes teamwork, but  on Friday  Cole Leinart stepped things up a notch to give Redondo Union the 'W'. Leinart was dynamite, rushing for 92 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, while also throwing for 127 yards and two touchdowns.
 Redondo Union has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record  this season. Leinart and Redondo Union will take on Peninsula at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Ethan Maleman Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
  Ethan Maleman posted a new career-high in  rushing yards  on Friday. He rushed for 173 yards while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 105  rushing yards.
 For the year,  Maleman  has averaged 93.2 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season,  he was only averaging 22.88  rushing yards per game.

Kingston Anetema and Co. Win Fifth in a Row
  Kingston Anetema was instrumental in extending North's winning streak to five on Friday. Nobody could stop  Anetema as he picked up 114 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 Anetema might have his next game, a home matchup with South, circled on his calendar. Anetema picked up 122 receiving yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Spartans duked it out  back in October of 2023.

A Constellation of Stars for Redondo Union
 Another Redondo Union player making an appearance on this list is  Bo Ausmus. He picked up 76 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 This season,  Ausmus  has caught 7 touchdowns while averaging 66.9 receiving yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he had two  receiving touchdowns.
