The Comsewogue Warriors lost against the Sayville Golden Flashes back in September of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Comsewogue had to suffer through a rough 42-7 loss at the hands of Sayville. Comsewogue has struggled against Sayville recently, as their game on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Comsewogue still got an impressive performance from Kaeden West, who rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries. West's longest rush was for an incredible 71 yards.
Comsewogue's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Sayville, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
Comsewogue will head out on the road to face off against Amityville Memorial at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Amityville Memorial is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Sayville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Harborfields at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Harborfields will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 145th, while Sayville is ranked 11th).
