The Plymouth Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight defeat. They suffered a tough 62-38 loss at the hands of Canton. While losing is never fun, Plymouth can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 422nd, while the Chiefs are ranked 47th).
It was another big night for Devon Pettus, who scored 15 points along with six assists and six rebounds for Canton. Another player making a difference was Bradley Eziuka, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds.
Plymouth's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Canton, they pushed their record up to 13-3 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Novi the next time they take the court. Plymouth will head out to face the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Chiefs will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
