Burnsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the St. Michael-Albertville Knights and fell 79-49. One positive for the Blaze, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Burnsville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for St. Michael-Albertville, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Burnsville will square off against Stillwater at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for St. Michael-Albertville, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Chanhassen at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Chanhassen knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully St. Michael-Albertville likes a good challenge.
