The Fayetteville Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 60-25 win over Buckholts. The win was just what Fayetteville needed coming off of a 50-30 defeat in their prior match.
Fayetteville found their leader in underclassman Cambree Denham, who scored 19 points along with six steals and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Denham has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayme Schley, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Fayetteville's win bumped their record up to 9-16. As for Buckholts, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Fayetteville will head out on the road to challenge Dime Box at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dime Box is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home. Buckholts will take on Calvert at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Calvert and Buckholts are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads.
