If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Danvers. On Friday they take on Medford at Hormel Stadium at 6:00 PM. Danvers will be hoping to build upon the 45-6 win they picked up against Medford the last time they played.
Danvers made easy work of Peabody Veterans Memorial last Friday and carried off a 30-3 win. The success made it back-to-back wins for Danvers.
Meanwhile, Medford came up short against Winthrop, falling 20-28. This makes it the second loss in a row for Medford.
Danvers's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Medford's defeat dropped them down to 0-2. We'll see if Danvers' success rolls on or if Medford are able to steal their positive momentum.
