When it comes to explaining why St. Stephen's & St. Agnes lost on Tuesday, one person who can't be blamed is Blake Neal. Despite the final result, he scored 22 points along with 3 steals. Neal scored a full 40.7% of St. Stephen's & St. Agnes' points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Jacobs, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds.
St. Stephen's & St. Agnes' defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Flint Hill, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
St. Stephen's & St. Agnes will take on Virginia Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Virginia Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 112th, while St. Stephen's & St. Agnes is ranked 22nd). As for Flint Hill, they will head out on the road to face off against Bishop Ireton at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
