In what's become a running theme this season, the Tabiona Tigers gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They blew past Altamont 77-29 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Tabiona sure is getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
Tabiona was led to victory by Logan Rhoades and Gavin Rhoades. Rhoades scored 17 points along with five assists and five rebounds, while Rhoades dropped a double-double on 18 points and 16 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rhoades has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lex Giles, who scored 11 points along with six assists.
Despite the loss, Altamont still got an impressive performance from Grayson Panas, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and two blocks. Panas is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played.
Tabiona's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.7 points per game. As for Altamont, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Tabiona will head out on the road to square off against Tintic at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Altamont, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rich at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rich is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 60.1 points per game.
