After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Notre Dame, Hand was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 57-47 victory over the Morgan Huskies. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Huskies are ranked 156th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hand is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points over those games. As for Morgan, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-12.

Hand does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Morgan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Guilford at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
